If any additional services are requested or required based on differing site conditions, we <br /> will contact your office (or assigned representative) for verbal and written authorization for additional <br /> services. Any additional services will be performed on a unit rate basis in accordance with the attached <br /> fee schedule. <br /> If requested, ECS can provide a reliance letter for our reports for an additional fee of$250.00 per entity <br /> per report. <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> Task 1—Geotechnical Exploration <br /> In preparing this proposal,we have assumed that the client will assist in the coordination of our access to <br /> the site with the current site owners/occupants. We anticipate being able to mobilize clearing and drilling <br /> equipment to the site within approximately 2 weeks after authorization to proceed, provided the <br /> appropriate on-site personnel have been informed and we have confirmation from NC811 that <br /> underground utilities have been marked. We anticipate that the clearing and drilling operations will <br /> require about 4 days, and that the laboratory testing, after drilling is completed, will require about 2 <br /> weeks. Analysis and report preparation will require approximately 1 week. <br /> Therefore, for time budget purposes, the entire scope should take about 4 weeks from initial <br /> authorization through final report submission. Preliminary findings and recommendations can be <br /> provided within three days of completion of the borings, if requested. <br /> Other Tasks <br /> The other proposed tasks, if authorized, will be performed concurrently with the Task 1 Geotechnical <br /> Exploration and will be completed before or at the same time as the Task 1 geotechnical report. <br /> EXCLUDED GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES <br /> Without attempting to provide a complete list of all or potential geotechnical services performed by ECS <br /> that will be excluded from this proposal, the following are specifically excluded. ECS can perform these <br /> services; however,the proposed fees do not cover any of these services.
