Perform Standard Penetration Test(SPT)tests at standard intervals within the soil test borings for <br /> engineering analysis. <br /> g. Obtain 2 bulk samples of auger cuttings from select borings for laboratory testing. <br /> h. Measure depth of groundwater within each borehole at time of drilling and prior to backfilling. <br /> Laboratory Testing <br /> Upon completion of drilling operations, the samples will be returned to our laboratory in Raleigh, North <br /> Carolina for further identification and testing, including: <br /> a. Visual-manual classification in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System <br /> b. 3 natural moisture tests <br /> C. 3 percent-passing No. 200 sieve tests <br /> d. 3 Atterberg Limit tests <br /> e. 1 standard Proctor compaction test <br /> f. 1 California Bearing Ratio (CBR)test <br /> Report <br /> Upon completion of testing and engineering analysis, we will prepare a geotechnical engineering report <br /> that presents our findings and recommendations. The geotechnical engineering report will include the <br /> following items: <br /> a. A site location diagram and a boring location diagram. <br /> b. Boring logs prepared in accordance with the standard practice for geotechnical engineering. <br /> Ground surface elevations shown on the boring logs will be approximated by interpolating from <br /> civil drawings or published topographical maps. <br /> C. Laboratory test results. <br /> d. Observations from our site reconnaissance including current site conditions, surface drainage <br /> features, and surface topographic conditions. <br /> e. A review of the published geologic conditions and their relevance to the planned development. <br /> f.
