For each multicultural <br />artist you intend to <br />hire, please list their <br />name, race, and how <br />much you plan to pay <br />them. <br />1 Project Artist (BIPOC, likely African American) will be paid $2,000, <br />and 4 Youth Council Members (BIPOC, likely African Americans) will <br />be paid $250 each <br />How will the <br />project/program be <br />publicized and <br />promoted to reach <br />intended <br />participants? <br />The progress of the project will be captured and shared v ia Town, <br />Community Arts & Culture and Chapel Hill Transit social media <br />(Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). The final project will be celebrated with <br />an “official unv eiling” on digital channels to follow public health <br />guidance (Facebook/Instagram Liv e). W e will also capture “behind- <br />the-scenes" content (photo/v ideo/testimonials) of the install, artists, <br />and youths inv olv ed. This content will be released an ongoing basis <br />up to 1 month after the project is completed. The art bus will liv e on <br />chapelhillarts.org. W e will share the final project v ia a press release <br />and we will activ ely pitch stories to local media such as The INDY, The <br />Daily Tar Heel, Chapel Hill Magazine, and W CHL. <br />How will you <br />evaluate the success <br />of the program? <br />W e will use a combination of qualitativ e and quantitativ e measures to <br />ev aluate the success of the project. <br />Project deliv erables: <br />- Employ and highlight the work of one local BIPOC artists <br />- Prov ide four youth of color experiential learning opportunities in the <br />professional and public art realm <br />- Create an Art-cov ered CH Transit bus to be deployed throughout <br />Southern Orange County <br />- Prov ide thousands of people chance encounters with a free, thought <br />prov oking art experience <br />W e will measure project impact by: <br />- Earned media mentions [#] <br />- Project-specific social media responses [likes/reposts/?] <br />- Project participant feedback. >85% positiv e ev aluations <br />W e will conduct interv iews, observ ation, and analytics to learn from <br />project participants and community members.
