Our estimate is based on <br /> experience with similar projects. ECS performs consulting services on a unit rate basis. This estimate <br /> is based on our best estimate of the time required to complete the task. Any additional time and/or <br /> laboratory testing above the costs estimated in Table 1 will be billed in accordance with our standard <br /> unit rates. <br /> Submitted charges for work are based on the number of units of work actually performed. If unusual <br /> conditions are encountered that could affect the performance of the project, we would notify you <br /> immediately, so that appropriate changes could be made to the Scope of Services and the fee <br /> estimate adjusted accordingly, if necessary. Laboratory turnaround time <br /> begins when samples are received and logged in by the laboratory. The report will be issued within <br /> one week of receipt of the final laboratory report. <br /> If areas of the property cannot be observed due to inaccessibility or unsafe conditions beyond the <br /> control of ECS, ECS will wait until such time either that the area is accessible or the unsafe conditions <br /> are corrected. If ECS must make an additional visit to the site, a change order will be provided for our <br /> additional fees. <br /> If other items are required because of unexpected field conditions encountered in our fieldwork, or <br /> because of a request for additional services, they would be invoiced in accordance with our current <br /> Fee Schedule.
