Orange County Board of Commissioners ~~ <br />Page 2 <br />June 8, 2001 <br />The Board of County Commissioners must call an election in <br />response to petitions requesting local tax elections and bearing <br />the approval of the Board of Education. The law does provide, <br />however, for a period prior to the election for the withdrawal <br />of the petition by the Board of Education in which case the <br />election is not held. <br />Enclosed is previous correspondence related to this inquiry <br />which contains more detail, P_s you all know, I will be out of <br />town next week.
