Construction Documents <br />20033 <br />Orange County Europa Center <br />22 1315 - 2 SANITARY WASTE (CAST IRON) <br />the entire system the piping shall be smoke tested using smoke bombs. The contractor shall plug <br />waste line where it exits building, fill all of the traps with water and test the waste and vent piping <br />by using a smoke bomb in a wall or floor cleanout. He shall install a plug on the cleanout once <br />the smoke bomb has been dropped into the cleanout. The smoke bomb test shall be held for <br />thirty minutes without evidence of leakage in the piping. The smoke bombs for this testing shall <br />be furnished by the contractor. Once the testing of the piping has been completed, the <br />contractor shall flush all of the smoke bombs from the waste piping system. <br />H.All piping and equipment installed under this Contract shall be tested in the presence of the <br />Engineer and the proper Plumbing Inspector, and proved tight for the periods stated above, or <br />longer if required by the Inspector. <br />I.The test shall be administered in sections if deemed advisable. <br />J.No plumbing system or part thereof shall be covered or concealed until after it has been tested <br />and approved. <br />K.If such work has been covered or concealed before testing, it shall be exposed for testing. <br />END OF SECTION 22 1315 <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: ECCAC5A0-6CC8-4B37-8AD3-89D69F0AE1AE
