Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and Division 1 Sections, <br />apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. This section includes the following: <br />1. Curtain track and curtain carriers. <br />2. Cubicle curtains. <br />3. I.V. track and bottle holders. <br />1.3 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Curtains: Provide curtain fabric with the following characteristics: <br />1. Fabrics are flame resistant and are identical to those that have passed NFPA 701 when tested by a testing and inspecting <br />agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction. <br />a. Identify fabrics with appropriate markings of applicable testing and inspecting agency. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: Include durability, laundry temperature limit, fade resistance, and fire test response characteristics for each type <br />of curtain fabric indicated. <br />B. Shop Drawings: Show layouts and types of cubicles, size of curtains, number of carriers, anchorage details, and conditions <br />requiring accessories. Indicate dimensions taken from field measurements. <br />C. Samples for Initial Selection: For each type of curtain material specified. <br />D. Samples for Verification: For each type of product required. Samples of size indicated below. <br />1. Curtain Fabric: 12 inches square swatch. Mark top and face of material. <br />2. Mesh Top: Not less then 4 inches. <br />1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A. Environmental Limitations: Do not install cubicles until spaces are enclosed and weatherproof, wet work in spaces is complete <br />and dry, work above ceilings is complete, and ambient temperature and humidity conditions are maintained at the levels indicated <br />for project when occupied for its intended use. <br />PART 2 – PRODUCTS <br />2.1 CURTAIN TRACKS <br />A. Manufacturer: Cubicle curtain track shall be Model IFC-98, as manufactured by Imperial Fastener Co., or Architect approved <br />equal. <br />10 21 23 <br />B. Extruded Aluminum Track: Cubicle track shall be extruded 6063-T5 aluminum, 1 3/8” by 3/4” by .058” wall thickness, one <br />piece, and surface mounted. <br />1.
