Manufacturer: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products of one of the following: <br />1. Benjamin Moore & Co. (BM). <br />2. Glidden-“ICI” Paint Stores, Inc. (ICI). <br />3. M. A. Bruder & Sons, Inc. (MAB). <br />4. PPG Industries, Inc. (PPG). <br />5. Sherwin-Williams Company (SW). <br />2.2 PAINT, GENERAL <br />A. Material Compatibility: Provide block fillers, primers, finish coat materials, and related materials that are <br />compatible with one another and the substrates indicated under conditions of service and application, as <br />demonstrated by the manufacturer based on testing and field experience. <br />B. Material Quality: Provide the manufacturer's best-quality trade sale paint material of the various coating <br />types specified. Paint material containers not displaying manufacturer's product identification will not be <br />acceptable. <br />1. Proprietary Names: Use of manufacturer's proprietary product names to designate colors or <br />materials is not intended to imply that products named are required to be used to the exclusion of <br />equivalent products of other manufacturers. Furnish the manufacturer's material data and <br />certificates of performance for proposed substitutions. <br />C. Colors: Provide color selections made by the Architect from the manufacturer's full range of standard <br />colors. <br />1. No cost increase will be considered due to the final color selected. This includes but not limited to <br />dark or intense hue and/or saturation colors. <br />2.3 INTERIOR CONCRETE FLOOR SEALER <br />A. Sealer: Provide the manufacturer's recommended factory-formulated, water-based clear penetrating <br />silane sealer that are compatible with the concrete floor indicated. <br />1. Concrete Floor Sealer: <br />a. “Hydrozo 100" (2 coats min) by Sonneborne or approved equal by Tremco or Pecora. <br />100% silane solution <br />2.4 MASONRY BLOCK FILLER: <br />A. Filler Coat Materials: Provide the manufacturer's recommended factory-formulated, latex-type concrete <br />masonry block fillers that are compatible with the finish materials indicated. <br />B. Products: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide one of the following: <br />1. High-Performance Latex Block Filler: <br />a. Glidden - “ICI” Bloxfil 4000-1000 Interior/Exterior Heavy Duty Acrylic block filler <br />applied at dry film thickness of not less than 10 to 14 mils or approved equal by BM, PPG, <br />MAB, or SW. <br />2.5 PRIMERS <br />A.
