Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions <br />and Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.02 SUMMARY <br />A. Section includes: <br />1. Mechanical door hardware for: <br />a. Swinging doors. <br />2. Field verification, preparation and modification of existing doors and frames to receive new door <br />hardware. <br />3. The intent of the hardware specification is to specify the hardware for interior doors, and to <br />establish a type, continuity, and standard of quality. However, it is the door hardware supplier’s <br />responsibility to thoroughly review existing conditions, schedules, specifications, drawings, and <br />other Contract Documents to verify the suitability of the hardware specified. <br />B. Exclusions: Unless specifically listed in hardware sets, hardware is not specified in this section for: <br /> <br />1. Windows <br />2. Cabinets (casework), including locks in cabinets <br />3. Signage <br />4. Toilet accessories <br />C. Related Sections: <br />1. Division 01 Section “Alternates” for alternates affecting this section. <br />2.
