Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and <br />Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. Section Includes: <br />1. Standard hollow metal frames. <br />B. Related Sections: <br />1. Division 08 Section “Glazing” for hollow metal frames. <br />2. Division 08 Section "Door Hardware for door hardware for hollow metal doors. <br />3. Division 09 Sections "Painting" for field painting hollow metal frames. <br />4. Division 26 Sections for electrical connections including conduit and wiring for door controls and <br />operators. <br />1.3 DEFINITIONS <br />A. Minimum Thickness: Minimum thickness of base metal without coatings. <br />B. Standard Hollow Metal Work: Hollow metal work fabricated according to ANSI/SDI A250.8. <br />1.4 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. Include construction details, material descriptions, <br />core descriptions, fire-resistance rating, temperature-rise ratings, and finishes. <br />B. Shop Drawings: Include the following: <br />1. Elevations of each frame design. <br />2. Frame details for each frame type, including dimensioned profiles and metal thicknesses. <br />3. Locations of reinforcement and preparations for hardware. <br />4. Details of each different wall opening condition. <br />5. Details of anchorages, joints, field splices, and connections. <br />6. Details of accessories. <br />7. Details of conduit and preparations for power, signal, and control systems. <br />8. Submit schedule of doors and frames using same reference numbers for details and openings as <br />those on Contract Drawings. <br />a. Indicate coordination of glazing frames and stops with glass and glazing requirements. <br />C. Other Action Submittals: <br />1.
