Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and <br />other Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. This Section includes requirements for temporary utilities, support facilities, and security and protection <br />facilities. <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 01 Section "Summary" for limitations on utility interruptions and other work restrictions. <br />2. Division 01 Section "Submittal Procedures" for procedures for submitting copies of <br />implementation and termination schedule and utility reports. <br />1.3 USE CHARGES <br />A. General: Cost or use charges for temporary facilities shall be included in the Contract Sum. Allow other <br />entities to use temporary services and facilities without cost, including, but not limited to, Owner's <br />construction forces, Architect, occupants of Project, testing agencies, and authorities having jurisdiction. <br />B. Water Service: OWNER WILL pay all water service connection expenses or charges for water used by <br />all entities for construction operations. OWNER WILL pay for actual water use charges until Beneficial <br />Occupancy. <br />C. Electric Power Service: OWNER WILL pay all electric power service use charges for electricity used by <br />all entities for construction operations. OWNER WILL pay for actual electrical use charges until <br />Beneficial Occupancy. <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Tests and Inspections: Arrange for authorities having jurisdiction to test and inspect each temporary <br />utility before use. Obtain required certifications and permits. <br />1.5 PROJECT CONDITIONS <br />A.
