Drawings and general provisions of the Contract, including General and Supplementary Conditions and <br />other Division 01 Specification Sections, apply to this Section. <br />1.2 SUMMARY <br />A. This Section includes administrative and procedural requirements for submitting Shop Drawings, Product <br />Data, Samples, and other submittals. <br />B. Related Sections include the following: <br />1. Division 01 Section "Payment Procedures" for submitting Applications for Payment and the <br />Schedule of Values. <br />2. Division 01 Section "Project Management and Coordination" for submitting and distributing <br />meeting and conference minutes and for submitting Coordination Drawings. <br />3. Division 01 Section "Quality Requirements" for submitting test and inspection reports and for <br />mockup requirements. <br />4. Division 01 Section "Closeout Procedures" for submitting warranties. <br />5. Division 01 Section "Project Record Documents" for submitting Record Drawings, Record <br />Specifications, and Record Product Data. <br />6. Divisions 02 through 49 Sections for specific requirements for submittals in those Sections. <br />1.3 DEFINITIONS <br />A. Action Submittals: Written and graphic information that requires Architect’s responsive action. <br />B. Informational Submittals: Written information that does not require Architect's responsive action. <br />Submittals may be rejected for not complying with requirements. <br />C. Field Samples: Full-size physical examples erected on-site to illustrate finishes, coatings, or finish <br />materials. Field samples are used to establish the standard by which the Work will be judged. <br />D. Mockups: Full-size assemblies for review of construction, coordination, testing, or operation; they are <br />not Samples. <br />1.4 SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES <br />A. General: Electronic copies of CAD Drawings of the Contract Drawings will not be provided by <br />Architect for Contractor's use in preparing submittals unless a Waiver is provided by the Contractor. <br />B.
