Owner: Orange County, 300 West Tryon Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278. <br />D. Architect: Smith Sinnett Architecture, 4600 Lake Boone Trail, Suite 205, Raleigh, North Carolina 27607. <br /> <br />Description of Work: <br /> <br />This bid package consists of an office upfit for Orange County’s DSS Skills Development Center. The office <br />consists of new partitions, new ceilings and soffits, reusing doors and windows in new locations, new case- <br />work and miscellaneous plumbing, mechanical, electrical upgrades and fire protection upgrades, The office <br />suite is approximately ??? sf, The overall building will remain occupied and will remain active during con- <br />struction.. <br />1.4 TYPE OF CONTRACT <br />A. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. Bidders submitting single prime contract bids, <br />and subsequently successful single prime Contractors, shall be aware that all work of the project is <br />included in the Work of a single prime contractor, regardless of the divisions of work indicated on the <br />Drawings and in the Project Manual. All references and indications in the Drawings and the Project <br />Manual to separate Prime Contracts shall apply to the Single Prime Contract. Bid Alternates and Unit <br />Prices shall apply to the Single Prime Contract.
