Spear, <br /> <br />This letter is in reference to ensuring that the Orange County Jail meets the requirements listed <br />in the NC Administrative Code (NCAC), Health and Human Services, Food Sections: 10A NCAC <br />14J .0903: Food and Nutrient Requirements, .0904: Menus, and .0905: Modified Diets for the <br />period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. <br /> <br />Thank you for meeting me this year (7/2/20) to discuss any needed changes to your menus. You <br />indicated that you have been continuing to follow the recommended menus reviewed at our <br />meeting in February 2020 and requested no modifications for this fiscal year. <br />Please remember these additional requirements: <br />Please follow the menus as written to meet these requirements. If a substitution needs to be <br />made, please keep a written record and contact me to update your menus (.0904). Food <br />modifications may only be made if prescribed by a medical practitioner and/or to accommodate <br />religious beliefs. Please contact me for menu modifications. <br /> <br />I reviewed the above requirements during our meeting.
