Obtain approval of finalized Volunteer Coordinator job description from Orange County <br />Personnel Department by OctoY~er 31, 2003. <br />4. Meet with representatives from local Childcare Services Association to develop plans for <br />establishment of on-site childcare services for employees and volunteers at shelters and/or <br />staging areas during disaster response by October 31, 2003. <br />5. Recruit, hire, and orient Volunteer Coordinator by November 30, 2003. <br />6. Twenty percent of licensed nur;~es (approximately 40) who respond to invitation cards and/or <br />attend an information session v~~ill join the MRC by November 30, 2003. <br />7. Fifty percent of licensed pharmacists (approximately 10) who respond to invitation cards <br />and/or attend an information session will join the MRC by November 30, 2003. <br />8. Develop and administer questionnaires to volunteers to document current place of <br />employment, specialty area, inrerests, skills, and anticipated MRC availability and <br />commitment by November 30, 2003. <br />9. Verify licensure and credentials of 100% of volunteers by December 15, 2003. <br />10. Complete design of MRC database inclusive of licensure verification reminders by <br />December 31, 2003. <br />11. Develop volunteer MRC role descriptions by December 31, 2003. <br />12. Assure a qualified corps of ini~:ial volunteers by providing Health Department orientation and <br />disaster response training by L-ecember 31, 2003. <br />11 <br />
