AGREEMENT <br />Between <br />The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education’s <br />Emergency Medical Technician & <br /> Advanced Emergency Medical Technician Program s <br />and <br />The Service Agency Providing Clinical Resources <br />Orange County EMS <br /> <br />This Agreement made and concluded this 13th day of July, 2020 by and between <br /> <br />The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education <br />and <br />Orange County EMS <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education (NCOAE) has passed a <br />resolution to establish and operate an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program and an <br />Advanced Emergency Technician (A-EMT) program, in compliance with the standards <br />established by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services , Division of Health <br />Service Regulations, Office of Emergency Medical Services. <br /> WHEREAS, in order to facilitate such a program, the use, assistance and cooperation of a <br />Service Agency is necessary, and the above Agency has agreed to act in such capaci ty: <br />I. Agreement <br /> This is a mutual agreement between the Administration of Orange County EMS and <br />NCOAE that the Service Agency will accept students for clinical practice and learning <br />experiences. The students in the program shall be the responsibility of the faculty of the EMT <br />and A-EMT programs of NCOAE. <br /> The faculty shall work in close relationship with the EMS Dire ctor and EMS staff.
