Miami Blvd Suite C <br />Durham, NC 27703 <br />Office: 919.957.1949 <br />Fax: 919.957.8737 <br /> <br />July 6, 2020 <br /> <br />TO: Orange County <br /> Alan Dorman <br /> <br />RE: Historic Courthouse AV system – revision 4 summary <br /> <br />Intellicom Inc. appreciates the opportunity to submit a Proposal for installation of an AV system for audio <br />reinforcement and evidence presentation for the Orange County Historic Courthouse courtroom in Hillsborough, <br />NC. <br /> <br />Video system <br /> <br />The video system will provide all displays on stands that can be moved or removed as needed for courthouse use. Single <br />USB-based wireless button presentation will allow one attorney at a time to present from a connected laptop using shared <br />presentation buttons. <br />The system as designed will include: <br /> <br /> <br />o 3 55” consumer grade displays for video presentation to jury, gallery, and attorneys <br />▪ Jury and gallery displays on back-to-back display stand at jury bannister <br />▪ Attorney display on low rolling cart in front of judge’s bench <br />o 3 24” desktop monitors on table stands for video presentation to judge, witness, and clerk of court <br />o Single-view wireless presentation from USB-based Clickshare devices from user laptops <br />o All displays will require 120v power for display and wireless presenter links <br /> <br /> Labor: $2,850.00 <br /> Materials: $10,025.00 <br /> Video system subtotal: $12,875.00 <br /> <br /> Audio system <br /> <br />The audio system will provide local push-to-talk microphone reinforcement for courtroom participants – the clerk of court, judge, <br />jury, witness, and prosecution and defense attorneys. Local speakers will be provided for all participants and the jury to hear <br />all other participants in court proceedings. All speaker positions are designed to have local volume control pending final <br />speaker review for lowest profile speakers possible adequate to site requirements. The existing OFE amplifier and speaker <br />system will be reworked and available for use in the system for gallery audio. <br /> <br />The system as designed will include: <br /> <br />• (8) individual powered speakers with local volume control (each requiring 120v AC AND audio signal connection), or <br />non-powered speakers with automatic volume control (requiring audio signal connections) for court proceeding <br />participants: <br />o 1 for clerk of court; <br />o 1 for judges bench; <br />o 1 for court reporter: <br />o 1 for witness stand; <br />o 1 for prosecution attorney; <br />▪ May be non-powered speaker w/no volume control; <br />o 1 for defense attorney; <br />▪ May be non-powered speaker w/no volume control; <br />o 2 for jury; <br />▪ 1 on rear of dual monitor stand <br />▪ 1 on window frame to left of witness stand/TBD <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: CDB82D56-B97F-4F73-A2D9-113C0ED2BF05
