The County closed on the sale of Series 2021 General Obligation Bonds for Affordable <br /> Housing on July 8, 2021. This budget amendment provides for the Cost of Issuance and <br /> Underwriter's Discount related to the Series 2021 General Obligation Bonds financing <br /> package of $181,094 in the General Fund to be included in the overall Debt Service <br /> budgeted expenditures, and provides for the receipt of the financing proceeds to cover the <br /> cost of these expenditures in the General Fund. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Orange County Social Justice Goals associated <br /> with this item. <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Capital Projects <br /> 8. The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) Board of Education has requested to <br /> close two (2) School Capital Projects that have ended or been held in contingency, and <br /> repurpose those available CHCCS funds of $2,373,024 to support completing the <br /> construction of the Chapel Hill High School addition.
