Durham has regional branches and several of them are closer for me because of the way the county has centralized that resource. Same for parks and recreation, the best fields, pools etc are very far from me. 78 We need better candidates. OC is a dumpster fire to use the 2021 lingo. Carrboro and Chapel Hill interests largely control the entire county, which is unfair considering that these urban areas are vastly different from the rural areas. Personally, I would like to see Orange County split in to two counties -Orange and Northern Orange. I say this as someone who usually agrees with the politics/policies and agendas of the board 87 The northern part of the county as well as other rural parts are sorely un-represented. Commissioners should have a feel for the whole county's needs rather than just the cities. Fair 4/6
