As a result of Commissioner Mark Dorosin's resignation, there are seven <br /> Commissioner vacancies on Boards and Commissions. BOCC Chair Renee Price coordinated with <br /> Board Members whom have volunteered to serve in the vacant positions until December 2021 when <br /> the Board will discuss its assignments for 2022. The recommended assignments for the vacancies <br /> are as follows: <br /> BOARD NAME BOCC MEMBER TO <br /> SERVE UNTIL <br /> DECEMBER 2021 <br /> Climate Council Commissioner Bedford <br /> Community Home Trust BOD Commissioner McKee <br /> Durham Tech Board of Trustees Chair Price <br /> Jordan Lake One Water Association- Elected Officials Commissioner Greene <br /> Justice Advisory Council Commissioner Greene <br /> Strategic Communications Work Group Commissioner Hamilton <br /> Transit Planning Committee Commissioner Fowler <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Orange County Social Justice Goals associated with <br /> this item. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impact associated with this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Boards and <br /> Commissions assignments for members of the Board of Commissioners as detailed above. <br />
