The Department of Environment, Agriculture, Parks and Recreation (DEAPR) has deferred <br /> revenue for the following programs: <br /> • NC Matching Grant — As of June 30, 2021, the department has $11,075 in deferred <br /> revenue, for use in FY 2021-22, related to the Soil and Water division's NC Matching <br /> Grant. Matching funds are used for office and educational supplies, staff training and <br /> certification costs and award sponsorship. <br /> • Little River Park Donations —As of June 30, 2021, the department had received Little <br /> River Park donations of $45,936. These funds have been earmarked as deferred <br /> revenue, for use in FY 2021-22. This budget amendment provides for the re- <br /> appropriation of these funds and creates the following Little River Park Donations Grant <br /> Project Ordinance: <br /> Little River Park Donations Grant ($45,936) — Project #20012 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 <br /> Amendment Revised <br /> Deferred Revenue $0 $45,936 $45,936 <br /> Total Project Funding $0 $45,936 $45,936 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 FY 2021-22 <br /> Amendment Revised <br /> Little River Park Donations Grant $0 $45,936 $45,936 <br /> Total Costs $0 $45,936 $45,936 <br /> This budget amendment provides for the receipt of these deferred revenues for use in FY <br /> 21-22. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact <br /> associated with this item. <br /> Child Support Services <br /> 6. The Department of Child Support Services has need for contract legal services pending <br /> the employment of a full time attorney to cover the primary attorney responsibilities for the <br /> department and to ensure a smooth transition of legal services to the department with the <br /> onboarding of the newly hired staff attorney. This amendment seeks to increase the budget <br /> for IV-D Refunds, federal funding through annual performance incentive awards, based on <br /> historic actuals to more accurately reflect the average revenue, increasing IV-D Refunds <br />
