She said they would prefer to have the appeals 14 done as informal, and additional help may not be as necessary because the process is formal 15 now. 16 Chair Price said she and community organizers were encouraging residents to pursue 17 the informal process so they could speak to staff, as opposed to going to a hearing. 18 Nancy Freeman said she misunderstood, and appraisers are doing field visits. She said 19 her staff is going to increase its presence in the field to make more progress. 20 Chair Price asked when that would be completed. 21 Nancy Freeman said her aim is to have them all done by June 30. 22 Bonnie Hammersley said she has also heard challenges County residents have had 23 during the revaluation process in the past, but commended the response of the tax office not 24 only to this issue, but with everything that has come up in the past year. She said if there are 25 residents listening this evening, they can certainly contact the tax administration office to get 26 help with anything they need.
