35 <br /> 1 <br /> 2 b) School Related Debt Service for local school districts totals $23,738,246. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 c) Additional net County funding for local school districts totals $3,629,597. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 (1) School Resource Officers and School Health Nurses Contracts - total <br /> 7 appropriation of$3,629,597 to cover the costs of School Resource Officers <br /> 8 in every middle and high school, and a School Health Nurse in every <br /> 9 elementary, middle, and high school in both school systems. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 6) Capital Investment Plan Funding for FY2021-22 (Year 1) <br /> 12 <br /> 13 The following FY2021-22 (Year 1) Capital Investment Plan Appropriations are approved: <br /> 14 a) Overall Total Capital Investment Plan Funding of$50,915,167 <br /> 15 <br /> 16 b) County Capital Projects Funding of$18,518,992 <br /> 17 <br /> 18 c) School Capital Projects Funding of$27,504,864 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 d) Water & Sewer Project Funding of$1,350,000; Solid Waste Project Funding of <br /> 21 $3,136,311; and Sportsplex Project Funding of$405,000 <br /> 22 <br /> 23 7) County Fee Schedule <br /> 24 <br /> 25 To adopt the County Fee Schedule to include changes in the FY2021-22 Manager's <br /> 26 Recommended Annual Operating Budget and approved by the Board of County <br /> 27 Commissioners on June 8, 2021. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Commissioner Dorosin said he will not vote to approve the budget, as it does not reflect <br /> 30 the values of the community. He said cutting the Durham Tech project is irresponsible and <br /> 31 unjustifiable. He said he will vote against the resolution of intent and against the budget on <br /> 32 June 15, 2021. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 A motion was made by Commissioner McKee, seconded by Commissioner Fowler, to <br /> 35 approve the resolution of intent to adopt the FY2021-22 annual operating budget resolution. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Chair Price said she is very disappointed about Durham Tech, but a budget is needed <br /> 38 for the County to operate.
