2 <br /> 1 • Funding Decisions on the Operating Budget Amendment List <br /> 2 • Funding Decisions on the Other Funds Budget Amendment List <br /> 3 • Funding Decisions for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange County <br /> 4 Schools <br /> 5 o Current Expense (Per Pupil) <br /> 6 <br /> 7 The Board reviewed, discussed, and made decisions regarding the FY2021-22 <br /> 8 Manager's Recommended Orange County Annual Operating Budget and approved a Resolution <br /> 9 of Intent to Adopt the FY2021-22 Orange County Annual Operating Budget. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 BACKGROUND: <br /> 12 The County Manager presented the FY2021-22 Recommended Budget on May 4, 2021. <br /> 13 Subsequently, the Board has conducted two public hearings to receive residents' comments <br /> 14 regarding the proposed funding plan. In addition to the public hearings, the Board heard <br /> 15 presentations and held discussions with representatives of the County fire districts, the local <br /> 16 boards of education, representatives of the community college, and County Functional <br /> 17 Leadership Teams as related to the proposed funding plan for FY2021-22. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Tonight's Agenda: <br /> 20 Tonight's work session offers the Board an opportunity to discuss the recommended budget, <br /> 21 including discussion and review of the Budget Amendment list. As soon as these discussions <br /> 22 are completed, the Board will deliberate and make decisions regarding the FY2021-22 Annual <br /> 23 Operating Budget and approve a Resolution of Intent to Adopt the FY 2021-22 Annual <br /> 24 Operating Budget.
