12 <br /> 1 Alliance Health has made attempts to contact all Orange County providers that currently <br /> 2 contract with Cardinal Innovations Healthcare directly. Alliance was able to successfully <br /> 3 connect with 19 of these providers to date and Alliance has engaged in conversations to <br /> 4 learn more about the services and arrangements that these providers have with <br /> 5 Cardinal. Alliance provided information on the realignment process to these providers <br /> 6 and agreed to further engagement as the realignment process moves forward into the <br /> 7 implementation phase. <br /> 8 The Alliance Provider Network leadership specifically reached out directly to Freedom <br /> 9 House Recovery Center, Club Nova, and OE Enterprises based on their longstanding <br /> 10 history of providing services within Orange County, their unique service array, and their <br /> 11 experienced understanding of local systems and community need. <br /> 12 Alliance Health coordinated a meeting with the local parent advocacy group, Parent <br /> 13 Advocates for Adult Children with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities, on April <br /> 14 26. <br /> 15 The County and Alliance Health has communicated with the State and Local Consumer <br /> 16 and Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) and has begun drafting a charter for an Alliance <br /> 17 Health CFAC. <br /> 18 The County hosted a Virtual Town Hall meeting on May 12, 2021. Approximately sixty <br /> 19 individuals attended the event to ask questions and submit comments. The attendees <br /> 20 represented providers, members, parents, and advocates as well as staff from the <br /> 21 County, Alliance Health, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Cardinal <br /> 22 Innovations. A summary of those questions and comments will be distributed to the <br /> 23 Board prior to the meeting. <br /> 24 Timeline <br /> 25 The remaining timeline for realignment process is expected to proceed as follows: <br /> 26 <br /> 27 • May 18, 2021 — Board of Commissioner consideration of a Resolution Authorizing <br /> 28 Submittal of the Request to Disengage to the Secretary of the Department of Health and <br /> 29 Human Services. <br /> 30 • May 20, 2021 — Pending Board approval, submittal of the formal Request to Disengage <br /> 31 to the Secretary with the required documentation. A decision by the Secretary is <br /> 32 required within 90 days. <br /> 33 • August 17, 2021 —Anticipated approval by the Secretary <br /> 34 • Following Secretary Approval —Transition and implementation phase <br /> 35 • January 1, 2022 — Proposed effective date of transition <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Travis Myren made the following PowerPoint presentation: <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br />
