NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />ORANGE COUNTY CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is made and entered into this <br />20th day of ___June__ 2020 by and between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to <br />as "County") and Alsco, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Provider"). <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THAT WHEREAS, the County and Provider entered into a contract dated J u l y 1 , <br />2 0 1 7 w i t h r e s p e c t t o U n i f o r m R e n t a l a n d S e r v i c i n g f o r <br />O r a n g e C o u n t y S o l i d W a s t e ( h e r e i n a f t e r t h e “ A g r e e m e n t ” ) ; <br />a n d <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and Provider desire to extend the A g r e e m e n t while keeping in <br />effect all terms and conditions of the Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and <br />conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration for the mutual covenants and agreements <br />made in the Original Agreement and herein, the parties agree to amend the Original <br />Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Term of the Agreement is hereby extended through June 30, 2023. <br /> <br />2. Compensation for basic services for the term shall not exceed Twenty Thousand <br />Dollars ($20,000.00) per fiscal year, for a maximum total over the 36 month term of <br />Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000.00). <br /> <br />3.
