Section 23.2 (Penalties), Subsection b) (Civil Penalty), states that "(Ajny act constituting <br />a violation of any requirement of this ordinance shell subject the offender to a civil <br />penalty of $100.00." Subsection e) states that "jEjach day's continuing, violation of any <br />provisfon of this ordinance is a separate and distinct offense." The Zoning Ordinance <br />also alloys the County to seek criminal action against perrons found to be in violation of <br />the Zoning Ordinance through the courts. in addition, Article 23 (Violations, Penalties, <br />and Remedies) of the Zoning Ordinance authorizes the County to seek a combination of <br />remedies (criminal action, civil parishes) to abate a zoning violation. <br />Please call me at (919) 245 -2607 if you have any questions.
