All General, <br />Supplementary and Special Conditions, etc., as originally specified or as modified below shall apply to these <br />items. <br /> <br />General <br />1. A mandatory PreBid meeting was held on Tuesday March 2nd. The Sign in sheet and agenda are <br />posted in the following location: https://smithsinnett.com/bid/orange-county-southern-human- <br />services-hvac-and-roof-replacement/. The prebid meeting was mandatory and thus only general <br />contractors in attendance may submit bids. <br />2. A walkthrough meeting was held for mechanical contractors to tour the interior of the building on <br />Friday, March 5th. Questions arising from that meeting: <br />1. Do you require controllers to be factory mounted to the new VAV boxes? <br />A: Refer to VAV Box Schedule on M7-01, note B, which requires factory mounting. Also, <br />spec section 23 36 00 – 2.01(H).1.c.. (See attached PME Addendum) <br /> <br />2. Pneumatic to DDC will require new low voltage power to the vav controls…. who is <br />to provide the power -- contractor or Siemens? <br />A: VAV boxes should be furnished with a 120/24V transformer per Schedule note I and <br />233600 – 2.01(G). Electrical contractor is running 120V to boxes (E2-01), and factory <br />transformer is stepping down for low voltage.
