Southern Human Services Center Smith Sinnett /2020072 <br />HVAC and Roof Renovations Orange County,North Carolina <br />VAV PACKAGED DX RTU 23 74 00 - 6 <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 INSTALLATION,OPERATION,AND MAINTENANCE <br />A.Installation,Operation,and Maintenance manual shall be supplied with the unit. <br />B.Examine areas and conditions,with Installer present,for compliance with requirements for <br />installation tolerances and other conditions affecting performance of the Work. <br />C.Examine casing insulation materials and filter media before air-to-air energy recovery equipment <br />installation.Reject insulation materials and filter media that do not comply,or are wet,moisture <br />damaged,or mold damaged. <br />D.Install units with clearances for service and maintenance. <br />E.Manufacturer's Field Service:Engage a factory-authorized service representative to inspect,test, <br />and adjust components,assemblies,and equipment installations,including connections. <br />F.Engage a factory-authorized service representative to train Owner's maintenance personnel to <br />adjust,operate,and maintain air-to-air energy recovery units. <br />G.Installing contractor shall install unit,including field installed components,in accordance with <br />Installation,Operation,and Maintenance manual instructions. <br />H.Start up and maintenance requirements shall be complied with to ensure safe and correct <br />operation of the unit. <br />END OF SECTION <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 94E7997D-4F29-42F6-A9B4-0A160438D2A6
