The Board of County Commissioners may choose to refer an application <br /> back to the Planning Board at the conclusion of the public hearing. <br /> [2] The Planning Board approves the Concept Plan for a Major Subdivision and then makes a recommendation <br /> on the Preliminary Plat to the BOCC. <br /> SECTIONAPPLICATIONS <br /> 2.2.1 Authority to File Applications <br /> (A) Applications submitted under this Ordinance shall be submitted by the landowner, as <br /> identified by the records of the Orange County Tax Office, or their authorized agent. <br /> (B) If the applicant is not the owner, or sole owner, of the land, a notarized letter signed by <br /> the owner(s) consenting to the submission of the application shall be submitted along <br /> with all required application information and materials. <br /> Orange County, North Carolina—Unified Development Ordinance Page 2-1 <br />
