Tryon Street, Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br />Campus Wide Fiber and Alternate A <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Please see the following questions and responses below. <br /> <br />1) General question – is there a budget for this project? <br /> <br />Yes. This project will be funded from existing funds earmarked for fiber expansion. <br /> <br />2) On the addendum the “Proposal Contents – Revised” is shown as 2.6, but on the original <br />posting, it was 2.7. Is this just a typo, or was section 2.6 eliminated? <br /> <br /> It is a typo. Section 2.6 has not been eliminated. <br /> <br />3) For the Proposal submittal in section 2.6, for “office delivery”, will the County receive <br />hand delivery by a vendor/firm at the 405 Meadowlands office listed, or does that <br />delivery method need to be made by a carrier such as DHL, FedEx, etc.? <br /> <br />It is preferable that vendors use the proposal submittal methods listed on page 5. <br />However, vendors will have the option to hand deliver their proposals on December 18, <br />2020 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at 405 Meadowlands Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278. <br /> <br />4) On page 6, but in general since this is a hard copy submittal, are the signatures required <br />on documents for this proposal all to be “wet” signatures, or will electronic signatures be <br />acceptable? <br /> <br />Both electronic and “wet” signatures will be acceptable for Attachment B: Certification of <br />Financial Condition and Attachment C: Addendum Acknowledgement.
