SECTION 316613 – HELICAL PIERS <br />Orange County Waste and Recycling For Proposal – Not for Construction <br />Metal and White Goods Retaining Wall Repair 31 66 13 - 4 <br />DAA PN R00592-204ST2 November 2020 <br />C.Connection Bracket <br />1.Helical pier shall be connected to the structure using an A.B. Chance ap- <br />proved bracket in combination with a steel plate to provide an end bearing de- <br />tail as shown on the project drawings. <br />2.The connection device shall be capable of safely transferring the structural <br />loads to the helical pier. <br />D . Installation Records <br />1.Written installation records shall be obtained for each helical pier. These rec- <br />ords shall include: <br />a.Project name and location <br />b.Name of Dealer <br />c.Name of Dealer’s foreman who witnessed the installation <br />d.Date and time of installation <br />e.Location and reference number of helical pier <br />f.Descriptions of lead section and extensions installed <br />g.Overall depth of installation as referenced from floor slab elevation <br />h.Torque readings for the last 3 feet of installation. <br />END OF SECTION 316613 <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: B2D44CC3-6321-4EF3-AFC6-547186A1261E
