QUALITY CONTROL - 014500 <br />Orange County Waste and Recycling For Proposal – Not for Construction <br />Metal and White Goods Retaining Wall Repair 01 45 00 - 1 <br />DAA PN R00592-204ST2 November 2020 <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 REQUIREMENTS INCLUDED <br />A.General quality assurance and control <br />B.References <br />C.Manufacturer's instructions, certificates, field services, and reports <br />D.Testing laboratory services. <br />1.02 RELATED REQUIREMENTS <br />A.Section 013300 Submittal Procedures <br />1.03 GENERAL QUALITY CONTROL <br />A.Maintain quality control over suppliers, manufacturers, products, services, <br />site conditions, and workmanship, to produce work of specified quality. <br />B.Comply with industry standards except when more restrictive tolerances or <br />specified requirements indicate more rigid standards or more precise <br />workmanship. <br />C.Perform work by persons qualified to produce workmanship of specified <br />quality. <br />D.Secure products in place with positive anchorage devices and sized to <br />withstand stresses, vibration, physical distortion, and disfigurement. <br />1.04 REFERENCES <br />A.Conform to the referenced standards and Standard Specifications. <br />B.Specific provisions of codes, regulations and standards may be <br />referenced in individual Specifications to assist the Contractor and identify <br />options selected by the Engineer. Such references do not relieve the <br />Contractor from compliance with other applicable provisions of codes, <br />regulations, and standards not specifically referenced. <br />C.Should specified reference standards conflict with Contract Documents, <br />request clarification from Engineer before proceeding. <br />1.05 MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS AND CERTIFICATES <br />A.Comply with manufacturer's instructions in full detail, including each step <br />in sequence.
