Please briefly describe the proposed program, including an explanation of how it aligns with the Town of <br />Chapel Hill and Carrboro’s Results Framework, and Orange County BOCC Goals and Priorities, and the target <br />population to benefit from the program. (100 words or less) <br />Programming will support food access, vocational training, and teen leadership development for refugees <br />from Burma, ensuring refugee families increased access to fruits and vegetable, refugee farmers receive <br />vocation training to improve English language, and small business skills, and refugee teens have mentorship <br />and support to build confidence, leadership, and speaking skills, leading to improved academic performance <br />and enrollment in higher education. These programs embody the goals and values of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, <br />and Orange County by providing resources to promote economic wellbeing, youth education, and health and <br />wellness for low-income, diverse individuals through outcomes-based, sustainable, community driven efforts. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7.
