Bidder acknowledges that: <br />1. each Bid Unit Price includes an amount considered by Bidder to be adequate to cover <br />Contractor’s overhead and profit for each separately identified item, and <br />2. estimated quantities are not guaranteed, and are solely for the purpose of comparison of <br />Bids, and final payment for all Unit Price Work will be based on actual quantities, <br />determined as provided in the Contract Documents. <br />3. Items not specifically identified as a unit line item, but necessary to complete the project <br />as shown on the plans and in the technical specifications shall be included in the cost of <br />one of the line items above. Contractor shall determine which line item to include the <br />additional costs based on related items or the sequencing of tasks. <br />3.02 Unit Cost Schedule Measurement and Basis for Payment <br />A. The line items below provide further description of the unit cost items included in the project <br />bid price and shall be used as a means of determining the value of Work added to or deleted <br />from the Contract. The Unit Cost generally outlines each item and the corresponding unit <br />price listed by the Contractor. The price associated with each item shall be the full <br />compensation paid for the Work described, regardless of the items. The description of the <br />item shall not limit or lessen the work associated with each item as called for in the plans and <br />specifications. <br />B. The Contractor shall provide quantity justification with pay requests for items paid on a unit <br />rate basis.
