Orange County Eubanks Road C&D Landfill
Construction Quality Assurance Plan
Revised March 15, 2021

obtained at significant grade breaks. The contour interval shall be 2 feet. The
scale of the drawing shall be no greater than 1 inch = 50 feet.

a) Thickness Verification Table

Thickness verification tables will be generated for the base grade. All
thicknesses shall be measure perpendicular to the base slope.

2) Cap

Provide the elevations of the area to be capped prior to placement of cap
materials. The record drawing shall indicate the conditions of the site after
vegetation has been stripped from the closure area and the surface prepared
and ready for placement of the infiltration barrier layer. Provide grid
locations that indicate the elevations of the base grades on a maximum 50-
foot grid. On slopes, at a minimum the survey points will include top of slope,
midpoint, and toe of slope. Survey points shall be obtained at significant grade
breaks. The contour interval shall be 2 feet. The scale of the drawing shall be
no greater than 1 inch = 50 feet.

a) Thickness Verification Table

Thickness verification tables will be generated for the 6-ich topsoil finished
grade, 12-inch controlled subgrade and 18-inch infiltration layer. All
thicknesses shall be measure perpendicular to the base slope.

3) Infiltration Layer

Provide the horizontal limits of the top of the infiltration layer. Provide grid
locations that indicate the completed elevations of the soil cap. Grid locations
shall be horizontally the same as the grid locations used for base grades. No
additional soil layers shall be placed until a certified survey is submitted and
approved by the QAE demonstrating that the surface of the infiltration layer
conforms to the Contract Documents and that the layer is a minimum of 18
inches thick. Partial surveys may be accepted at the discretion of the QAE.

3) Erosion/Vegetative Support Layer

Provide the horizontal limits of the top of the erosion/vegetative support layer.
Provide grid locations that indicate the completed elevations of the soil cap.
Grid locations shall be horizontally the same as the grid locations used for base
grades. No additional soil layers shall be placed until a certified survey is
submitted and approved by the QAE demonstrating that the surface of the
erosion/vegetative support layer conforms to the Contract Documents and that
DocuSign Envelope ID: 0844D1D6-E311-4FC5-8B5B-BB1E27A908ED
