Orange County Eubanks Road C&D Landfill <br />Construction Quality Assurance Plan <br />Revised March 15, 2021 <br /> <br /> <br />shall notify the QCO immediately of non-complying test results and shall be <br />available to verify remediation and retesting of non-complying work. The <br />QAO shall maintain an awareness of the project and detect conditions that <br />may directly or indirectly jeopardize the integrity of the field testing. <br /> <br />3) The QAO shall verify that the equipment used in the testing meets the <br />specification requirements and that the tests are conducted in accordance with <br />the standard procedures specified. <br /> <br />f. Contractor <br /> <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for constructing the facility in strict compliance with the <br />plans and specifications. The Contractor shall be responsible for any of its subcontractors <br />retained to perform work on the project. The Contractor shall be responsible for QC Testing <br />performed by the subcontractor and the Contractor shall further be responsible for submittals <br />of QC documentation completed by the Contractor or subcontractors. <br /> <br />6. Communications <br /> <br />a. Preconstruction Meeting <br /> <br />A preconstruction meeting shall be held after award of the contract to the successful <br />bidder. <br /> <br />Present at the preconstruction meeting shall be the Owner, the Contractor, the <br />Engineer, and QA personnel. The discussion at this meeting shall include, but not be <br />limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> 1) Providing each organization will relevant QA documents and supporting <br />information. <br /> <br /> 2) Familiarizing each organization with the QA plan and its role relative to the <br />plans and specifications. <br /> <br /> 3) Reviewing the responsibilities of each organization. <br /> <br /> 4) Reviewing lines of authority and communication for each organization. <br />Communications will to be strictly documented. Copies of communications <br />will be distributed in a timely manner to each organization. <br /> <br /> 5) Discussing the established procedures or protocol for observations and tests <br />including sampling strategies. <br /> <br /> 6) Discussing the established procedures or protocol for handling construction <br />deficiencies, repairs, and retesting. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 0844D1D6-E311-4FC5-8B5B-BB1E27A908ED
