Flexamat ® channel lining shall be installed per the manufacturer's specifications. <br />The product shall be placed over the finished channel grade following the <br />installation of seed, mulch and fertilizer. Panels shall be overlapped and secured <br />per the manufacturers specifications. <br /> <br />D. CONTRACTOR shall inspect erosion and sediment control features at least weekly <br />and after each rain storm. Make necessary repairs or clean-up to maintain the <br />effectiveness of the feature immediately. <br /> <br /> <br />Part 4 Maintenance <br /> <br />A. In general, erosion and sediment control measures will be checked weekly by the <br />CONTRACTOR and after each significant rainfall. Temporary and permanent <br />seeding shall be completed in accordance with Section 02480. The following will <br />be checked in particular: <br /> <br />1. Silt fences for signs of clogging. <br /> <br />2. Sediment basin to verify adequacy and to make sure the outfalls and <br />connecting existing grades have positive slope away from the disposal unit. <br /> <br />3. Check dams for signs of clogging. <br /> <br />1. Perimeter surface berms for signs of erosion damage and adequacy. <br />2. Flexamat channels shall be inspected for evidence of bare soil or damage to <br />the mat structure. Re-apply seed and much if necessary. Damaged sections <br />shall be replaced with new panels or panel sections as recommended by the <br />manufacturer. <br /> <br />B. Upon finding that a measure has failed or filled, the CONTRACTOR shall repair <br />said measure at no additional cost to the COUNTY. <br /> <br />C.
