v 0.1 <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />THIS FIRST CONTRACT AMENDMENT (“Amendment”) is made and entered into this 1st day of June, 2021 by and <br />between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as “County”) and Renaissance Planning Group, Inc., (hereinafter <br />referred to as “Consultant”). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THAT WHEREAS, the County and Consultant entered into a contract dated March 24, 2020, (hereinafter the “Original <br />Agreement”), for the provision of services for updating the 2017 Orange County Transit Plan with an internal <br />designation of 2020-214-E; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and Consultant desire to amend the Original Agreement while keeping in effect all terms and <br />conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below. <br />NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements made herein, the parties agree to <br />amend the Original Agreement as follows: <br />1.Attachments A “Task List and Milestone Dates” and B “Pay Schedule” shall be replaced in their entirety with <br />Attachments A2 “First Update to Task List and Milestone Dates” and B2 “First Update to Pay Schedule”. <br />2.The compensation for the additional work included in this Amendment shall be eight thousand four hundred <br />and six dollars ($8,406.00). Article 5 of the Original Agreement is amended to reflect a maximum payable <br />not-to-exceed amount of two hundred ninety five thousand six hundred and twenty four dollars <br />($295,624.00). <br />3.Except for the changes made herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent <br />it is not inconsistent with this Amendment.
