TEXT AMENDMENTS TO ARTICLE 6.29.3 OF THE ORANGE COUNTY ZONING <br />ORDINANCE (ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISTRICTS DESIGN MANUAL). <br />1. Change "Class A Special Use" to "Class B Special Use" when referring to <br />special uses approved by the Board of Adjustment; <br />Purpose: The heading on each page of the Permitted Use Table in the EDD <br />Design Manual contains the following statement regarding special use permits: <br />"...or by the Board of Adjustment as a Class A Special Use ("B")." "Class A" <br />should be amended to read "Class B" since this is the type of permit issued by the <br />Board of Adjustment. <br />2. Consider changes (including the addition or deletion of uses) to the <br />Permitted Use Table and changes in process for approval of uses for the I- <br />85/Buckhorn Road Primary Development Area. <br />There are ten non-residential categories of land use in the Buckhorn EDD. <br />Numbers in parentheses indicate the number of uses in each category: <br />• Agriculture and Forestry (3) <br />• Construction (2) <br />• Manufacturing, Assembly, and Processing (45) <br />• Transportation, Communication, and Utilities (12) <br />• Wholesale Trade (12) <br />• Retail Trade (9) <br />• Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate (5) <br />• Services (23) <br />• Government (3) <br />• Other (2) <br />Permitted land uses listed under the above categories can be characterized <br />as follows: <br />• Use-by-right <br />• Class A Special Use (A) <br />• Class A Special Use -Planned Development (A-PD) <br />4s <br />
