Verify format and descriptions with authority <br />having jurisdiction. <br />3.Emergency System Equipment: <br />a.Use identification nameplate or voltage marker to identify emergency system <br />equipment in accordance with NFPA 70. <br />4.Use identification nameplate to identify disconnect location for equipment with remote <br />disconnecting means. <br />5.Available Fault Current Documentation: Use identification label to identify the available <br />fault current and date calculations were performed at locations requiring documentation by <br />NFPA 70, including but not limited to the following. <br />a.Service equipment. <br />B.Identification for Conductors and Cables: <br />1.Color Coding for Power Conductors 600 V and Less: Comply with Section 26 0519. <br />2.Identification for Communications Conductors and Cables: Comply with Section 27 1000. <br />3.Use underground warning tape to identify power and communication feeders and branch <br />circuits exterior to the building. <br />C.Identification for Cable Tray: Comply with Section 26 0536. <br />D.Identification for Boxes: <br />1.Use color coded boxes to identify specified systems. <br />a.Color-Coded Boxes: Field-painted per the same color coding as identified in this <br />section for the system contained within. <br />b.Fire alarm junction boxes shall be painted on all sides including the box cover. <br />2.For boxes concealed above accessible ceilings or exposed in mechanical or electrical <br />rooms use neatly handwritten text using indelible marker to identify circuits enclosed. <br />3.For exposed boxes in public areas, use only type written labels. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 09980A3B-0691-41B4-854D-3865F2287392
