STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA AMENDMENT ONE TO <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> 2019 -2020 CDBG <br /> FUNDS TO SUPPORT EMERGENCY <br /> TEMPORARY ]MOUSING EXPENSES <br /> This . Amendment One to the 201 .9 -2020 'CDBG funds to support emergency temporary housing <br /> expenses dated June 19 , 2020 , herein " original Contract" , by and . between the Town of Chapel <br /> Hill, herein " Town" , and Orange County, herein " Contractor" , is made and entered as of the date <br /> set forth below. <br /> Said 2019 -2020 CDBG funds to support emergency temporary housing expenses is hereby <br /> amended as follows : <br /> This Contract is revised to include CDBG funding from 2019 -2020 and 2020 -2021 <br /> program years and CDBG coronavirus specific funding (CDBG- CV) . <br /> Section I . Duties of the Contractor, is hereby revised to include all duties described <br /> in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference . <br /> Section 2 , Duties of the Town, is hereby revised by adding a new sentence to read <br /> as follows : "The Town shall pay for the additional services described in Exhibit A <br /> and the additional amount as stated in Exhibit A . <br /> Section 3 , Fee Schedule and Maximum Sum, is hereby revised by adding a new <br /> sentence to read as follows : " Contract amount for the additional duties described in <br /> Section 1 is not to exceed $ 490 , 860 . " <br /> Section 18 , Term, is hereby revised by extending the term of the Contract to June <br /> 3 0 , 2022 . <br /> Exhibit A of the original Contract is revised in full as attached hereto . <br /> Said original Contract also is hereby amended to add new provisions as follows : <br /> A . Federal Assistance . This Contract is funded, in whole or in part, by federal assistance . <br /> Accordingly, the federal provisions contained in Exhibit B apply, as applicable . <br /> Except as herein and as may be previously amended, all the terms and provisions of the original <br /> Contract are hereby reaffirmed and shall remain in full force and effect . <br /> [SIGNATURES ON FOLLOWING PAGE. ] <br /> L <br /> Federal Assistance — Amendment — April 2020 Page 1 of 6 <br />
