Among <br />others, [he flrtn has expertise in the areas of environmental protection, health antl human <br />services, economic tlevelopment, antl housing. Firm representatives spoke wRh the Cheiq <br />Vice-Chelr, Manager, and various depadment heads eadiar this year antl tlevelopetl a list of <br />Orange County projects/activities [hat mould conceivably benefit from fetleral footling. <br />Leslie Mozingo, a patlner with the fine, will make a beef presentation deeaibing the <br />organization of the Flnn, its experience antl capabilities in assisting local governments in <br />lobbying forfetlemlfunds, era its basic fee stmcture options. She will also provides <br />preliminary, limitetl assessment of the prospects of possible projects for fedeml funding as <br />identifed by various County tlepartmen[s, antl entedain questions and wmmants from [he <br />Board. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated directly with this presentation. <br />Ms. Mozingo will speak to the potential fedeml revenues that might be obtalneq antl the vests <br />for the flnn's services in helping to obtain such atltlRlonal revenue. <br />RECOMMENDATIONISI: The Manager recommends that the BOaN receive the repgrtfor <br />information and provide appropriate direction b stag. <br />
