i ~1 <br />Carolina Cemetery Survey forms will be completed for all cemeteries recorded. An overview <br />of the prehistory and history of the region will be discussed along with specifics as regards <br />the Cedar Grove community. Two copies of the draft report will be made available to ERCD <br />at least one week in advance of the final submittal deadline of December 8, 2003. Following <br />receipt of comments on the draft report, all comments will be addressed. Four copies of the <br />revised final report will be submitted to ERCD by December 8, 2003. <br />III. COST <br />A lump sum bid is provided for this project (See Attachment. A). Cost break outs are <br />included for the following phases: background research, investigation of the Vincent <br />Property, field reconnaissance, and reporting. <br />IV. PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />Background research for the project will begin as soon as the Notice to.Proceed (NTP) is <br />received. This task should be accomplished in only a few days, as much Orange County <br />research has been conducted by legacy in the past. <br />Fallowing the background research, fieldwork will be performed in as expeditious a manner <br />as possible. Early in the first week of November, fieldwork should be completed in time to <br />prepare a Preliminary Field Report (Management Summary) by November 7, 2003. A draft <br />final report will `be made available for review and comment no later than December 1, 2003. <br />After addressing comments, the final report will be submitted no later than December 8, <br />2003. <br />V. NOTICE TO PROCEED <br />Legacy will not begin work on any phase of the project until a NTP is given- by Orange <br />County.. This statement is currently anticipated to be issued soon after.October 21, 2003. <br />VI. BUSINESS INTERESTS <br />• A. INSURANCE <br />Legacy will provide proof of insurance purchased from a company authorized to write. <br />casualty insurance in the State of North Carolina.- This insurance will be maintained in full <br />force and effect until the contract has been fully and completely performed. Insurance <br />certificates will provide for athirty-day written notice to Orange County detailing any <br />changes, cancellations, o senp'uded in t~e bid as part f the overhead figureadditional <br />insured. Insurance cost <br />1. Worker's Compensation Insurance is provided in statutory amounts. <br />2. Comprehensive General liability Insurance is carried in the amount of <br />$1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 in the aggregate. <br />3.
