Apply for and secure all applicable plumbing and/or code specific permits from Orange County Inspections Division prior to starting work. <br />2.Provider shall provide any traffic control or other safety measures according to the most current NCDOT, OSHA or other safety requirements related to <br />the work being performed. <br />3.Excavate to existing PVC line at the location shown. <br />4.Install 4-inch sewer service lateral with all fittings and appurtenances (Schedule 40 PVC pipe or ductile iron pipe, depending on site conditions) to connect <br />existing wastewater discharge system to existing sewer service stub-out. Note for the roadway crossings, coordinate with the County to determine when <br />the open cuts can be made with minimal disruption to the facility. Provide metal plate until trench can be properly restored with asphalt. <br />5.Cap existing wastewater line to septic tank. <br />6. Coordinate final inspections and secure final certifications from Orange County Inspection Division. <br />7.Restore site to pre-construction conditions, seed and straw all disturbed areas when done. <br /> Septic Tank Abandonment: <br />1.Secure an Existing System Authorization from Orange County Environmental Health to abandon the existing septic tank, prior to starting work. <br />2.Contractor shall provide any traffic control or other safety measures according to the most current NCDOT, OSHA or other safety requirements related to <br />the work being performed. <br />3. The existing septic tank will need to be pumped by a North Carolina registered septage hauler and then properly abandoned. <br />4.An Orange County Environmental Health Inspector must be present when the septic tank is collapsed. <br />5.
