Orange County Affordable Housing Bond Program <br />Semiannual Project Progress Report <br />Report period ending June 30, 2003 <br />Project Sponsor: Chapel Hill Department of Housing <br />Project Type: Rental <br />Income Targeting: Below 50% of area median income <br />Project Address: Transitional Housing for Public Housing; Chapel Hill, NC <br />Program Accomplishments: <br />BOND AWARD HISTORY <br />This project was awarded $75,000 in bond funds in June 2001. Bond funds would be used to assist in the <br />acquisition of one dwelling unit to be rented for afive-year period by a current public housing resident <br />transitioning to independent living. <br />The Town of Chapel Hill Housing Department sponsors this program. Additional funding was needed to <br />finance this project. These funds are now available and County staff anticipates entering into a Development <br />Agreement with the Town of Chapel Hill by the end of the 2003 calendar year. <br />
