121 <br /> Lessor shall install appropriate amount of smoke and carbon monoxide <br /> detection devices. <br /> Fire and Carbon If local code does not require fire suppression systems, the lessor shall <br /> Monoxide Detection install one (1) smoke detector in the main area of the office and in the <br /> USDA break room. A carbon monoxide detector should also be installed <br /> when the break room contains gas operated appliances. <br /> Lessor must secure public restrooms in a manner that only facility tenants <br /> can access them. This can be done by either hard key or an access code. <br /> Publicly Accessible <br /> Restrooms If the restrooms are located in USDA controlled space (i.e. behind the <br /> service counter), then no further action is needed as USDA will control <br /> who can enter employee space. <br /> Lessor shall maintain landscaping (trees, bushes, hedges, land contour, <br /> etc.) around the facility. Landscaping shall be neatly trimmed to minimize <br /> Landscaping the opportunity for concealment of individuals and packages/containers. <br /> Landscaping shall not obstruct the views of security guards and CCTV <br /> cameras or interfere with lighting or IDS equipment. Landscaping will not <br /> allow for access over walls or fences. <br /> The Building Owner shall ensure exterior lighting fixtures at entrances, <br /> walkways, and in parking areas meet the ISC minimum foot-candle or lux <br /> standard. In addition, lessor shall have a lighting preventative <br /> Site Lighting maintenance plan in place to inspect perimeter lighting for broken fixtures <br /> or burnt out bulbs and service any non-operable lights within 10 business <br /> days. <br /> POSTING OF SIGNAGE IDENTIFYING THE SPACE AS <br /> GOVERNMENTAL- The Lessor shall not post sign(s) or otherwise identify <br /> the facility and parking areas as a Government, or specific Government <br /> Signage— Facility; tenant, occupied facility, including during construction, without written <br /> Sensitive Areas; Government approval. <br /> Regulatory The government prohibits the lessor from posting signs that would identify <br /> sensitive USDA-FPAC areas, unless required by other standards/codes. <br /> The lessor must permit the government to post necessary regulatory, <br /> statutory, and/or site-specific signage.
