Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools is budgeted to receive $1,922,000 <br /> 13 as part of the Chapel Hill High School renovations project, and Orange County Schools is <br /> 14 budgeted to receive $11,386,000 for roof replacements at A.L Stanback Middle and Efland <br /> 15 Cheeks Global Elementary, and mechanical system upgrades at six schools. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Capital Investment Plan — Durham Technical College— Orange County Campus <br /> 18 The Manager Recommended Capital Investment Plan includes funding of$3,080,000 in FY <br /> 19 2021-22 and $22,467,911 in FY 22-23 for a new Academic Building for Durham Technical <br /> 20 Community College — Orange County Campus. <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Details regarding recommended funding levels for local school districts and Durham Technical <br /> 23 Community College are located in the Education section of the Manager Recommended <br /> 24 Operating Budget document, beginning on Page 164, and in the School Projects section of the <br /> 25 Manager Recommended Capital Investment Plan document, beginning on Page 101. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 During tonight's work session, Commissioners will have the opportunity to discuss with Durham <br /> 28 Technical Community College, Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools, and Orange County Schools <br /> 29 about county funding and anticipated State funding for schools next year.
