She said the abstract lists everyone who is eligible. <br /> 5 Commissioner Bedford asked if a chair must be a veterinarian. <br /> 6 Tara May said no, and there has to be three members of the advisory board to serve as <br /> 7 chairs on the hearing panel. She said two will be rolling off, and the BOCC needs to choose <br /> 8 two. <br /> 9 Commissioner Bedford asked for clarification on the eligible list. <br /> 10 Commissioner Bedford suggested Dr. Brian Stuart. <br /> 11 Commissioner Fowler suggested Dr. Sunita Driehuys. <br /> 12 Commissioner Bedford asked if the BOCC should suggest an alternate. <br /> 13 Chair Price said no. <br /> 14 Bonnie Hammersley said the Animal Services board is very engaged, and the chairs <br /> 15 rotate between hearings. <br /> 16 Commissioner McKee clarified that the proposed chairs would be from Hillsborough, one <br /> 17 Chapel Hill, and Little River. <br /> 18 Chair Price said yes. <br /> 19 Commissioner McKee said that gives good geographic diversity. <br /> 20 Chair Price said there are still two vacancies. <br /> 21 Tara May said there are no other applicants at this time. <br /> 22 Chair Price reviewed the requirements for the vacancies. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 10.
