Advisory Boards and Commissions —Appointments <br /> The Board approved the Advisory Boards and Commissions appointments as reviewed and <br /> discussed during the April 22, 2021 Work Session. <br /> i. Approval of a Resolution Authorizing a Revision in the Resolution Adopted May 5, <br /> 2016 Which Authorized the Orange County FY 2016-2017 HOME Program Design <br /> The Board approved a revision in the resolution adopted May 5, 2016 which authorized the <br /> Orange County FY 2016-2017 HOME Program Design. <br /> j. Proposed Orange County FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan and HOME Activities <br /> The Board: <br /> 1) Adopted a Resolution, which is incorporated by reference, authorizing submission of the <br /> FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan; <br /> 2) Adopted a Resolution, which is incorporated by reference, approving the proposed <br /> HOME Program Activities for FY 2021-2022; and <br /> 3) Authorized the County Manager to implement the HOME Program as approved by the <br /> BOCC, including the ability to execute agreements with partnering nonprofit organizations after <br /> consultation with the County Attorney and based on the allocation received from HUD <br /> k. Refund Request— Lake Orange, Inc. <br /> The Board denied a refund request submitted by Attorney Steve Yuhasz on behalf of Lake <br /> Orange, Inc. <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Bonnie Hammersley said staff is working to reopen county buildings to the public. She <br /> said the Deputy County Manager is assisting with developing a plan. <br /> 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> John Roberts said this is the last week for filing bills in the legislature. He said he will <br /> keep the Board informed. <br /> 11. *Appointments <br /> a. Arts Commission —Appointment Discussion <br /> The Board discussed an appointment to the Arts Commission. <br /> BACKGROUND: The following appointment information is for Board consideration. <br /> NAME SPECIAL TYPE OF EXPIRATION <br /> REPRESENTATIVE APPOINTMENT DATE <br /> TERM <br /> Sarah Shore At-Large First Full Term 03/31/2024 <br /> NOTE - If the individual listed above is appointed, the following vacancies remain: <br /> • None <br /> Tara May, Deputy Clerk, introduced the item, and updated the Commissioners on the <br /> Applicant's desire to not be appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission. She said the <br /> applicant would still like to be appointed to the Arts Commission. <br />
